Alex Lye Physiotherapist

Alex earned an honours degree in Kinesiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2007 and a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Science (M.Sc. RS) from Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland in 2010. His particular fields of interest lie in acupuncture, shockwave therapy and dry needling, concussion therapy, and musculoskeletal orthopedics and sports injuries. He also has extensive knowledge and continued education in the areas of lumbo-pelvic disorders, TMJ dysfunction, running assessment and injury treatment and prevention. He has worked with numerous sports particularly the Rock rugby team, various martial arts clubs, numerous basketball teams of all ages, racket sports especially squash where he is considered one of the top players in the province and a certified provincial-level coach.
