Kathleen Stevens, Registered Nurse

Kathleen Stevens has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years and a foot care nurse since 2009. She is an Assistant Professor at Memorial University Faculty of Nursing and has taught for 25 years. She completed her PhD in Nursing from Memorial in 2020. Kathleen taught Advanced Footcare Management for Nurses for eight years at the Centre for Nursing Studies. She is on the Board of the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses and several committees with Wounds Canada focused on diabetes and foot health. A primary focus of Kathleen’s research is diabetes and preventative foot health.

Outside of work, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her family, walking her Labradoodle, gardening and biking.
